No surprise costs
Many settlement agents provide quotes with what look like amazingly low professional fees, however, there are then “added extras” for administration, postage, compliance, phone calls etc which when added on generally push their actual fees higher than most other companies.
Perth Settlements do not do this, our quote is up front and concise, showing all costs applicable with our best estimates to ensure you know what your settlement will cost. The only time a figure would change would be if the actual work required differs from the work quoted on, and if this was to occur, we would contact you to explain the additional work required and that you agree to this being completed.

Opening your file and associated administration
Review of REIWA contract
Communication and liaising with banks, mortgage brokers other settlement agent, Landgate and Office of State Revenue
Lodging of documents at Landgate

A disbursement is any cost or fee that we incur on your behalf as part of the settlement process.
Common disbursements for the buyer:
Landgate certificate of title or encumbrance searches
Electronic Advice of Sale Fee
Landgate fees for the registration of documents, such as the transfer & new mortgage
PEXA e-conveyancing fee
Attendance at Landgate for a paper settlement (outside Clerk fees)
Stamp Duty
Verification of Identity – where not completed in person
Common disbursements for the Seller:
Landgate certificate of title or encumbrance searches
Landgate fees for the registration of documents, such as the Discharge of Mortgage
PEXA e-conveyancing fee
Attendance at Landgate for a paper settlement (outside Clerk fees)
Verification of Identity – where not completed in person
We will provide you with a breakdown of these costs in your quote, so that you know from the beginning all the fees involved in your settlement
