The Next Steps
When you sign the contract, please let the real estate agent know that you are appointing Perth Settlements as your conveyancer, they will then forward a copy of the contract to us and we will open your file.
Once your file has been opened we will contact you to confirm your best contact details, explain your obligations and to discuss any special conditions specified in the contract.
We send you an Appointment to Act to sign to officially appoint us as your agent.
Once the contract is unconditional we will prepare the remaining settlement documents for signing.
We will follow up with your mortgagee (where applicable) regarding the discharge of mortgage.
In the week leading up to settlement we will be in contact with you and will provide you with your settlement statement. We will also confirm where the proceeds of settlement are to be deposited.
On the day of settlement we will contact you to confirm that everything is ready for settlement and once settlement is complete we will phone you to give you the good news.
We also advise the Shire, Water Corporation and any Strata Company of the sale so that they can update their details.
